Parent Information

Bridgewood Day Nursery value  and respect the partnership with parents and carers. Therefore, the setting has established this sound partnership with parents, and carers by providing every child with a key person who cares for and educate the children in the setting.

The Unique Story is being used in a way to exchange information about the children) development, progress and needs between parents, carers and their key person. The setting also involves parents and carers in their children's learning in the creation of their children’s learning journey which is another way of sharing information and observation of their children.

You can help your children learn at home through little things you do with them, for example:

Every day conversation
Make- believe play
Games with numbers or letters
Reading together
Involving them in things you are doing, such as household chores and talking with them about it.
